CORRUPT RELIGIOUS LEADERS: PASTORS AND SEX CRIMES

It is obvious what proceeds from the flesh: lewd conduct, impurity, licentiousness (Galatians 5:19).

While comparing evangelicals to Catholics on abuse response, Boz Tchividjian, a Liberty University law professor who investigates abuse said (at the Religion Newswriters Association conference), "I think we are worse." According to him, too many evangelicals had "sacrificed the souls" of young victims (Please read Evangelical Sex Abuse Record 'Worse' Than Catholic, Says Billy Graham's Grandson Boz Tchividijian). So it seems that Protestant pastors are worse than Catholic priests when it comes to sexual abuse. However, very few people are willing to discuss about these corrupt Protestant pastors and their sex crimes. But why point an accusing finger at the Catholic Church for covering up child abuse when sex crimes are more prevalent among Protestant pastors? Is it because they are married  and it is alright for married men to become sexual abusers?

The prevalence of sex crimes amongst Protestant pastors should not be ignored just because they are married as one cannot deny the fact that married men can be much worse when it comes to sexual abuse. After reading Horus Gilgamesh's “25 MORE SHOCKING ARRESTS”: PASTORS CHARGED WITH SEX CRIMES, I decided to google for some sexual abuse cases involving Protestant pastors out of curiosity and it did not take me long before I found 40 such cases. The scandalous behavior of these Protestant pastors has clearly proven that sex scandals have got nothing to do with priestly celibacy but rather it is sexual license that breeds sexual abuse. Below is a list (of 40 cases) of some of the most recent cases on sexual crimes involving pastors (dated from October 2017 to January 2018). Please click on the titles of each case to read more about it.

  1. Hello Lavinia!

I found your blog while doing a Google search for information on St. Bernadette. My name is Tom Koch, and I am from the USA. I just wanted to tell you how much I admire you and respect you!

I find your great faith to be an inspiration to me, as well as your vows of virginity that you have taken. I believe our Lord Jesus Christ as well as our Blessed Mother Mary are well aware of you and what you have done. I also believe they will continue to look after you and protect you throughout your remaining days in this life!

It is very inspirational to me to know that there are people like you out there. You seem to be a person who truly understands what is most important in life...not the mindless material possessions of the modern age we live in, but the relationship we have with the Lord.

I have always believed that Heaven is for the most child-like among us...for those who realize that it is not the riches you pile up in this world that is most important, but the riches of the heart that you accumulate that matter most. Heaven is not for those with the biggest bank accounts or the strongest or most powerful; it is for those like St. Bernadette...people who willingly dedicate their lives to obeying and honoring God. St. Bernadette was not the most beautiful or most intelligent person, yet she was given the grace to see our Blessed Mother Mary because she was powerful in her faith and strength of her character. That is why Jesus said that Heaven is for those most like children.

Anyway, I am sorry for such a long comment, but I thought I would not actually get the chance to talk to you, so I want to try to say as much as I can in this comment!

Again, I want you to know that I think you are a lovely person, and I wish you all the best with your strong life of faith and vows! I am sure the Lord Jesus and our Blessed Mother are keeping watch over you and will continue to do so!

I also hope you will never forget the message of our Blessed Mother to St. Bernadette; a person of faith who dedicates himself or herself to God is not promised happiness in this life, but "only in the next."

    God bless you!
